Gene Simmons is attempting to trademark the “devil horns” gesture, claiming he created it. Not surprising really as Gene was narcissistic and greedy coming out the womb. But seriously, at this point in his career why decide to make a mockery of everything that rock-n-roll is about, especially when it is what created your career in the first place. #SAD : P
* I’d like to also add there’s pics of Gene use the “I LOVE YOU” hand gesture and not “Devil Horns”. Which any red blooded metal head can clearly distinguish.
Thankfully, some of the old guard doesn’t have Alzheimer’s yet and can clearly remember it was Ronnie James Dio who started it. As my own trivial memory is still in tact, I recall him saying in an interview, he adapted it from his grand mother as it was a gypsy curse handed down for generations. What’s more … that’s precisely what Ronnie’s Widow has come out and said!
